Keratosis Pilaris

Friday 22 February 2019

Keratosis Pilaris is a hair follicle skin condition of rough bumps that look like goose bumps or chicken skin. It often appears on the back, outer sides of the upper arms and thighs. It’s most common in females.

The use of a specially formulated AHA product ideal for exfoliating and smoothing rough bumps could help to treat the area of concern.

Neostrata Lotion Plus is formulated to smooth dry rough skin patches, enhance clarity and improve the appearance of fine lines associated with photo damage.

The glycolic acid ingredient helps with fine lines, acne, blackheads, dullness, oiliness, helps to resurface and helps with uneven skin texture, revealing a more brightened skin.

The AHA ingredient reduces enlarged pore size, assists with skin cell turnover and is helpful for acne prone skins.

The Lotion Plus can be applied to the skin or concerned areas daily for two weeks and twice daily thereafter as tolerated. This product is ideal for normal, dry and oily skins.

Daily use of a sunscreen is highly recommend.
