Over the years, the fat under your eyes move down and forms a ridge, which is incredibly aging. This is a problem that may come naturally or one that you have inherited from your parents. If you do have this problem and want to fix it, have them done sooner rather than later.
In the mean time try to do a gentle massage in a circular motion from the inner corner of your eye towards your temple to help dispense fluid and reduce puffiness. When you lie down to sleep, the water in your body levels out and settle underneath your eyes, causing puffiness. Rather sleep on your back with your head higher that your body, so as to help the fluid to drain away.
